Our Story

Nestled on the lush island of Tortola, British Virgin Islands, is a secret treasure by the name of Bamboushay Pottery.

Sed ut perspiciatis unde omnis iste natus error sit voluptatem accusantium doloremqulaudantium, totam rem aperiam,

Bamboushay has been in operation since 2001 and is one of the few businesses that produce local art on the island. The original name Bamboushay

comes from the island of Nevis where the owner has roots. Pottery runs in

the family blood and can still be traced back to New Castle village in Nevis,

West Indies. Mugs, tealights, candles, starfish paperweights, lanterns, shot glasses, wall sconces, and much more!

Bamboushay Lounge is one of the main attractions for a drink after work, a corporate dinner or some live local music on a Friday night.

Pottery continues to be handmade by family in Nevis to this day.

Bamboushay Pottery was born in Tortola and has planted her roots deep in BVI soil.

In 2012, Bamboushay expanded the business to include a restaurant and lounge on Waterfront Drive, a short walk from the Road Town Ferry Terminal. During the day, cruise ship visitors, and locals alike enjoy a delicious lunch

on our open air patio. Tasty treats include fish, shrimp, chicken and vegetarian options varied daily to satisfy all.
